The 3D Printers are prop makers for productions across London, the UK and internationally.
Our business began with movie lighting, movie props and costumes. We now have over 15 years’ experience of creating 3D models from simple design suggestions to hyper-realistic detail for the exacting movie industry, creating hundreds of models for major films.
We’ve worked for major movie franchises including Star Wars, James Bond and Mission: Impossible, as well as dozens of others.
Our work has included small props, hero items and costume elements – including helmets with integral cooling systems and complex lighting systems.
Whatever your design idea, we can bring it to life. If you can imagine it, we can make it. We can print your developed design, or work from an initial concept sketch to provide a complete design, CAD drawing and printing service.
As well as creating the model, our expert finishing services can add extra expertise and capacity to your production team.
3D printing is ideal for one-off props and costumes, or models for stop-motion animation, and is quicker and more durable than many traditional methods of construction.

Star Wars stormtrooper helmets
We worked on the stormtrooper helmets to develop a prototype to ensure the correct fit and look. The prototype was then used to take moulds to create helmets for the full platoon to wear in the movie.
Infinite – scanner
We 3D printed a shuttle that flies around the head scanner. This was 3d printed, and finished to give the final piece. Head Engineer, Darren, designed the item from concept art and even included electrical elements that we fitted for the final piece.

We produced parts for various vehicles including the Pontiac Fiero. We produced prop parts that fitted in the back of the car and external body parts such as jet thrusters that were fitted and finished by the team at the Warner Brothers studio.
